Visitors are calling for Symphonic Ibiza to become a regular event in Harrogate following its successful debut at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Thousands of people descended on the Showground on Saturday (15th August) for an evening of dance music featuring DJs, singers and a full live orchestra.
The event marked the first outdoor music concert at the Great Yorkshire Showground since Sir Elton John performed there in 2012.
Love Island star Alex Bowen opened proceedings with a DJ set before presenter Vernon Kay brought his 90s dance show to the Main Ring.

Heather Small, Rebecca Ferguson MBE and Alison Limerick then performed alongside the 40-piece Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra.
Following the event, visitors have been calling for Symphonic Ibiza to return to Harrogate.
One visitor said:
“It was a fantastic experience! Let’s do it again soon! Well done to all involved in making it happen.”
Another added:
“It was absolutely brilliant, well done Harrogate. Such a fantastic night. Hope they do it again next year!”
A third said:
“Can we make this a regular event please? It truly was an amazing evening.”

Freddy White, founder of Yorkshire-based Sound & White and lead promoter of Symphonic Ibiza, said the reaction to the event had exceeded expectations.
He said:
“If we could have bottled up the atmosphere from Saturday night, it would be worth its weight in gold.
“The energy from the crowd was extraordinary and the response and feedback we’ve received since has surpassed anything we could have hoped for.
“A huge amount of thanks must also go to the incredible Showground team and our other staff, crew, artists and suppliers working behind the scenes.
"An event of this scale involves an enormous number of people and moving parts and the professionalism, hard work and good spirit shown by everyone involved is what made the evening feel as seamless and spectacular as it did.”
Symphonic Ibiza was staged as a collaboration between Sound & White and the Great Yorkshire Events Centre.
Graham Thompson, Commercial Director at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre, said:
“What a night for Harrogate! We are so proud to have hosted the first Symphonic Ibiza which brought The Main Ring to life on Saturday evening with an incredible series of performances.
“This was an exciting new event for us to host, in an iconic setting and a terrific event for the community to enjoy.”
