Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park is preparing to say goodbye to one of its popular family rides after 11 years.
The Vintage Cars will take their final laps on Wednesday 2nd September, with the area set to make way for something new at the park near Ripon.
The ride has been at Lightwater Valley since 2015 and gives younger visitors the chance to get behind the wheel of their own vintage-style car.
Lightwater Valley has yet to reveal what will replace the attraction but has teased that a new addition is on the way.
Announcing the news, the park said:
“Our Vintage Cars will be taking their final laps before the area makes way for something new.
“Since joining the park in 2015, the Vintage Cars have been a family favourite, giving generations of our younger visitors the chance to get behind the wheel of their very own charming vintage car.
“So, if you've got a little driver who loves this nostalgic ride, make sure you visit the Vintage Cars before they're gone!”
The park added:
“We can't reveal what's coming just yet... But trust us, you'll want to keep your eyes on this space.”
The Vintage Cars will remain open until 2nd September, with further details about what will replace them yet to be revealed.
