Harrogate BID has revealed the locations for this year’s Floral Summer of Celebration, as eight spectacular displays prepare to brighten up the town centre.
The popular floral trail, organised and delivered by Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID), returns for its fifth year from Friday 3rd until Friday 17th July.
This year’s celebration is delivered by Harrogate BID in partnership with Harrogate International Festivals and sponsored by Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce.
The trail celebrates the 60th anniversary of Harrogate International Festivals while showcasing Harrogate’s renowned floral heritage.
Martin Mann, Chief Executive of Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce, said:
“We’re delighted to support the Harrogate Floral Summer of Celebration once again.
"Harrogate’s floral heritage is one of the things that makes our town so distinctive, and the trail is a fantastic way to encourage people to explore the town centre while supporting our local businesses.
“It’s a great example of organisations working together to create something that benefits residents, visitors and the wider business community.”
Eight eye-catching displays will appear across the town centre, creating unique photo opportunities and encouraging residents and visitors to explore everything Harrogate has to offer.

The locations for this year’s Floral Summer of Celebration displays are:
- Cenotaph War Memorial
- The Yorkshire Hotel, Prospect Place
- Nicholls Tyreman
- Montpellier Hill
- Cross James Street
- Victoria Shopping Centre
- Harrogate International Festivals HQ
- Library Gardens
Bethany Allen, Operations Manager at Harrogate BID, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to see the Floral Summer of Celebration return to Harrogate town centre for its fifth year.
“The trail has become a real highlight of our events calendar and it’s fantastic to see residents, visitors and businesses enjoying the displays each summer.
“This year is particularly special as we’re working alongside Harrogate International Festivals to celebrate their 60th anniversary, bringing together two things that Harrogate is known for: our incredible floral heritage and our vibrant arts and culture scene.
“The event is also a brilliant way to encourage people to explore the town centre, increasing footfall and supporting our local business community.”
Sharon Canavar, Chief Executive of Harrogate International Festivals, said:
“We’re delighted to be working alongside Harrogate BID on this year’s Floral Summer of Celebration as we mark 60 years of Harrogate International Festivals.
“Since 1966, Harrogate International Festivals has brought people together through unforgettable cultural experiences, celebrating world-class music, literature, arts and creativity right here in Harrogate.
“This partnership is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that makes our town so special, combining Harrogate’s renowned floral heritage with its vibrant arts and cultural offering.
“The displays will bring colour and creativity to the town centre, creating a fantastic atmosphere for residents, businesses and visitors to enjoy during this very special anniversary year.”
The BID team will once again be aiming for floral success, with this year’s Floral Summer of Celebration set to be entered into the Yorkshire in Bloom awards.
Harrogate BID has achieved continued success in both Yorkshire in Bloom and Britain in Bloom since 2022, with judges previously praising the trail for bringing a “friendly, unique” feel to the town centre and recognising the collaboration between local businesses and organisations.
The Floral Summer of Celebration forms part of Harrogate BID’s wider work to enhance the town centre, alongside the delivery of more than 200 barrier baskets, business planters and other floral initiatives.
