A number of trains from Harrogate towards York, Leeds and London have been cancelled this morning (Tuesday) due to flooding.

The 8:16, 8:46 and 9:13 trains to Leeds have been cancelled, as well as the 8:37, 9:05 and 9:35 to York. The 9:36 train to London Kings Cross will also not run. Northern has said it will run rail replacement bus services to help Harrogate commuters and that disruption is expected until 3pm. The cancellations come after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain, which will remain in place until 9pm tonight.
