Harrogate town centre streets undergo pre-Christmas jet wash Harrogate BID’s deep clean team have been in town ahead of the Christmas period. The team carried out a jet-wash of key streets around the town centre last night (Monday) including James Street, Cambridge Street, Oxford Street and The Ginnel. It’s all part of the BID’s objective to make Harrogate “Safe, Clean and Welcoming.” [caption id="attachment_84905" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] The deep clean of Harrogate town centre last night.[/caption] The work is backed up by Chris Ashby, the BID’s in-house street ranger. Matthew Chapman, BID Manager, said:

“First impressions really do count, which is why we ensure our streets are cleaned on a regular basis. “It is clear to see from the before and after pictures that the deep cleans make a huge difference to the aesthetic appearance of the town for all who visit it.”
Matthew added:
“I would encourage all businesses who are part of the BID community to make the most of the additional services the street ranger team offers over and above the deep cleaning. “We provide reactive support for improvements to properties within the BID radius, to make sure they look professional, clean and inviting.”
Harrogate BID’s in-house Street Ranger is in town from Tuesday-Saturday. If you have a cleansing request, email info@harrogatebid.co.uk. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
