“As soon I spoke to the Manager it was an easy decision and I’m looking forward to trying to help the club get back to League Two next season.

“The Manager has a clear idea of what he wants to do and where he wants to take this team.

“I can’t wait to play in front of the fans and hopefully we can start the season with a win on Saturday.”

The club’s newest arrival is also capped at international level having made five appearances for Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Lloyd Kerry, Town's Head of Recruitment, said:

“He’s quick, athletic and got a good energy about him, he’s played at a good level so we think he’ll be a good fit for us.

“It was important to fill this position, we’ve been trying hard all summer so we’re delighted to have got this deal done.”

Ethan began his career at Reading, making his debut for The Royals in 2020, before signing for Tranmere Rovers for a first time in 2022.

On the back of a season in which Bristow features over 50 times for Rovers, MLS side Minnesota United swooped for the wing-back’s services.

Ethan would taste further success back in England on loan with Stockport County, who he helped be crowned League Two Champions, before returning to Tranmere at the start of last season.
