Two primary schools in Birstwith are teaming up to host a community colour run and summer fair this weekend.
For the first time, the Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) of Belmont Grosvenor School and Birstwith School have joined forces to organise The Birstwith Colour Run and Summer Fair.
The event, which aims to bring together families, residents and supporters from across the village, will take place on Saturday 20th June on the playing fields at Belmont Grosvenor School.
Visitors can enjoy inflatables, games, refreshments, cakes, a licensed bar and a family-friendly colour run, which is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm.
A spokesperson for Belmont Grosvenor School PTA said:
“Whether you're connected to either school or simply live locally, both schools would love as many people as possible to come along and join in the fun.
“The more people who join the event, the more colourful, fun and memorable the day will be!”
The event will run from 1:30pm until 4pm and is open to everyone in the local community.
