The annual Harrogate Fire Station Open Day will be held this weekend, featuring a variety of demonstrations and interactions for families.
Harrogate Fire Station's family open day to be held this weekend Harrogate Fire Station's annual family open day will take place this weekend. The event returns on Sunday (3rd September) from 10am until 3pm, featuring bouncy castles, refreshments and various stalls. The usual attractions will be on display for visitors, including a variety of different fire engines plus demonstrations and interactions. There's also the chance for kids (and maybe some adults) to have a go at being a Firefighter. Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue and Red Cross volunteers will also be in attendance. This event is free to enter but it is an opportunity to donate to the Firefighters charity, with some activities offered at a small fee and a raffle also taking place.
