Harrogate charity shop to host 'naked window' to raise cancer awareness A Harrogate charity shop is hosting a ‘naked window’ this weekend to raise money and awareness for Stand Up To Cancer. Cancer Research UK on Oxford Street will feature four naked male volunteers in their window on Saturday (28th October). The aim is to promote men’s health and awareness of cancer. The store, which will also have prizes to be won on the day, is asking for either cash donations or online using a QR code. A spokesperson said:
“The idea is to raise awareness and money for men's cancers. “We don't want them to be embarrassed to get checked by a doctor and catch anything sooner rather than later.”Stand Up To Cancer Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) funds and develops the newest and most promising cancer treatments to help patients today. 100% of your donation received supports Stand Up To Cancer and its collaborative cancer research programs.
