Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder is set to bring his new spoken word tour to Harrogate later this year.
The legendary rocker, who rose to fame as the frontman of Happy Mondays and later Black Grape, will appear at Harrogate Theatre on Sunday 27th September as part of a nationwide tour.
Ryder, once regarded as the wild man of British rock, has become a national treasure thanks to appearances on a host of television programmes including Celebrity Gogglebox and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

The tour accompanies his latest book, Happy Mondays – and Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays, and promises an evening packed with stories from his extraordinary career.
A spokesperson for Harrogate Theatre said:
“Fans can look forward to a carnival of excess, wild tales, and improbable truths, as they enjoy the talents of a unique rock’n’roll star dubbed Britpop’s answer to WB Yeats."
