A free family community festival is coming to Harrogate next month.
The event will take place at Valley Gardens on Tuesday 11th August from 10am until 2pm, bringing together local organisations and emergency services for a day focused on community safety, wellbeing and summer fun.
Organised by North Yorkshire Council and partners, the festival is free to attend and is aimed at families and young people during the school holidays.
Those attending include North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, North Yorkshire Sport, North Yorkshire Youth, Harrogate Town AFC, Harrogate BID, Citizens Advice, North Yorkshire Council, Crimestoppers, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, British Transport Police, IDAS, North Yorkshire RISE, Ivison Trust, Adult Learning North Yorkshire and Personalised Learning College North Yorkshire.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the various organisations, learn more about the services they provide and enjoy a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day.
The Community Festival runs from 10am until 2pm on Tuesday 11th August at Valley Gardens, with free entry for everyone.
