The final list of teams taking part in this year's Great Knaresborough Bed Race has been revealed, with 90 teams set to tackle the gruelling 2.4-mile course.
This year's event, returning on Saturday 13th June, is particularly significant as it marks 60 years since the first Bed Race was held in 1966.
To celebrate the milestone, the theme for the 2026 Best Dressed Bed competition is 'The Swinging Sixties'.
Organisers say the race route remains largely unchanged from the original event, featuring steep climbs, cobbled streets and the famous 50-yard swim across the River Nidd.

The event, organised by volunteers from Knaresborough Lions Club, will see teams gather at Knaresborough Castle in the morning to decorate their beds before the traditional parade through the town from 1pm.
The race itself begins at 3pm from Conyngham Hall.
Chairman of the Bed Race organising committee, Jatinder Khalsi, said:
"With its great significance of six decades of Bed Race, what else could we have had as a theme but 'The Swinging Sixties'."

As well as confirming the race field, organisers have also reminded spectators of key arrangements for the day.
Access to Conyngham Hall, where the race starts and finishes and where the river crossing can be viewed live and on the Big Screen, costs £3 for adults, while children aged 16 and under can enter free.
Proceeds help cover the costs of staging the event, with any surplus funds donated to local charities and good causes.

A free park-and-ride service will operate between GSPK/Knaresborough Technology Park on Manse Lane and the town centre throughout the day. Parking and the shuttle service are both free, although motorists are being urged to remove vehicles before 6pm when the site closes.
A number of road closures will also be in place. Roads in and around Knaresborough will close from 12.30pm until around 6pm, while Market Place, Castlegate and Silver Street will shut from 10.30am.
Other affected routes include High Street, Bond End, Boroughbridge Road, Harrogate Road, Cheapside, Brewerton Street, Fisher Street, Castle Ings and Waterside. Parking restrictions will also be in force around the race route.
The race field is selected by lottery and represents the maximum number of teams permitted to take part.
