An Easter market featuring speciality artisan producers and makers will be part of an Easter Super Sunday at Ripley Castle.
Easter artisan market to be held at Ripley Castle An Easter artisan market is set to be held at Ripley Castle next weekend. Real Markets is returning to the historic venue on Easter Sunday (31st March), featuring a variety of speciality artisan producers and makers. The monthly market runs February to December on the last Sunday of each month, but next weekend is hosting an Easter ‘Super Sunday’ of activities. The event will include a seasonal Easter market alongside a bunny hunt, children’s Easter craft activities and guided tours of the castle. Entrance to the market, gardens and grounds is free - and dogs on leads are welcome too. [caption id="attachment_84345" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] Ripley's artisan market. (Photo: Real Markets)[/caption] The event will showcase an array of over 40 independent and artisan traders, offering visitors a chance to find unique gifts and treats and support local makers and creators. Goodies and treats available include breads and cakes from Harrogate’s Baltzersen’s, Skipton’s Antony’s Biltong and Easter cookie boxes from Carlton Kitchen. Other stalls include handmade leatherwear, garden metalwork, woodcraft, handmade soaps, clothing and candles and many more. Lucy Allen, director of Real Markets, said:

There is an incredible amount to see and do on Sunday 31st March and with access to the market and beautiful gardens and grounds being free it is a fabulous day out for family and friends.”Children’s craft activities by Rhythm Camp Events will be taking place within the market. Children will get the chance to make Easter themed goodies to bring home.
