Details revealed for new brick trail at RHS Harlow Carr

Brick Explorers will bring larger-than-life wildlife sculptures to RHS Harlow Carr this summer.

Details have been revealed for a brand new wildlife-themed brick trail coming to RHS Harlow Carr this summer.

The new "Brick Explorers" experience launches on 18th July and will run until 6th September at the Harrogate attraction.

Created in partnership with Iconic Bricks, the trail will feature a series of intricately hand-crafted wildlife sculptures positioned throughout the gardens, helping bring nature to life for visitors of all ages.

The experience has been designed to support the Royal Horticultural Society's 2026 theme, 'Bringing Nature Home', celebrating wildlife, plants and the natural world.

Visitors will be able to follow the Brick Explorers trail to discover ten "wildlife superheroes", learning about the special abilities and behaviours that help different species survive and thrive.

Using an accompanying activity booklet, families can collect superhero "superpowers" while exploring the gardens and discovering how plants, fungi and animals are connected within natural ecosystems.

Liz Thwaite, Head of RHS Garden Harlow Carr, said:

"We’re delighted to be bringing Brick Explorers to RHS Garden Harlow Carr for the first time.

"This exciting new experience combines creativity, play and discovery, encouraging families to explore the natural world around them and learn more about the wildlife that shares our gardens."

The brick creations have been individually designed and hand-crafted by the team at Iconic Bricks and will be displayed across the garden in a variety of natural settings, from nestled among planting schemes to positioned within wildlife-inspired areas.

Alongside the trail, visitors will also be able to take part in Brick Explorer Build Stations, where they can create their own nature-inspired models and imaginative green spaces.

The trail is included with standard garden admission.

Advance booking is required via the RHS website.
