Samira Effa, Head Chef at Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, has been shortlisted for Hotel Restaurant Chef of the Year at the 2023 Hotel Cateys awards.
Chef at luxury Ripon hotel nominated for Chef of the Year award The Head Chef at a luxury Ripon hotel has been nominated for the Chef of the Year Award at the 2023 Hotel Cateys awards.
Samira Effa is the Head Chef at Bar & Restaurant EightyEight at Grantley Hall near Ripon.
She has been in her role since June 2022 and is a previous Great British Menu contestant after competing in the 2019 and 2020 series.
EightyEight is one of five restaurants at five-star hotel Grantley Hall.

The winners will be announced later this year, on the night of the awards which take place in London on Monday 13th November.
