A burst water main is affecting water supplies in parts of Harrogate and Knaresborough this morning - and a primary school has been forced to close.
Yorkshire Water has warned that customers in the HG2 and HG5 postcode areas may experience no water or low water pressure.
And Hookstone Chase Primary School has been forced to close for the morning as a result.
A spokesperson for the school said:
"Unfortunately school will be closed for this morning at least due to no water on the premises.
"We will send out a further update around 10am to see if we are able to open for half a day."
Yorkshire Water said it is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it.
In an update on its website, Yorkshire Water said:
“We're aware of a burst water main in HG2/HG5. If you're in the area, you may experience no water or low water pressure.
“There's no need to call us – we're working on it now. Thanks for your patience.”
The update did not give an estimated time for supplies to return to normal.
