Black Sheep Brewery brings back popular Christmas beers
Black Sheep Brewery has relaunched two of its most popular Christmas beers ahead of the festive season.
The Masham-based brewery has relaunched 'Blitzen' and 'Snowflake', which will be available for a limited period during the autumn and winter months.Blitzen is a 4% Festive Ruby Ale, providing drinkers with notes of burnt orange, dark fruits and a touch of chocolate.
Snowflake is a Winter Pale Ale brewed using American hops Willamette and Columbus.
Commenting on the launch, Dan Scott Paul, Head Brewer at Black Sheep Brewery, said:
“Nothing says Christmas like a festive pint and we’re thrilled to be relaunching both Blitzen and Snowflake, available to beer lovers across the UK no matter their location.
“As vital to Christmas as the reindeer, Blitzen is the best-seller in our seasonal range and has been described as ‘Christmas cake in a glass’.
"The perfect tipple for getting hoppy during the countdown to the big day”.
Snowflake is now available on tap, as well as in a 500ml bottle for the first time ever on the brewery website.
Blitzen is also available online in bottle, with both brews set to be served in over 93 pubs and bars across the country in the coming weeks.
Dan added:
“If Blitzen wasn’t enough, don your woolly hat and grab a pint of Snowflake.
"A deliciously refreshing pint, Snowflake pairs brilliantly with a fish supper and for those not in the festive mood, can prove the ultimate beer for getting through the winter blues.
"Both beers sold out last year due to popular demand, so we highly recommend pubs get as much stock in as possible in a bid to drive footfall over the busy Christmas period”.
Black Sheep Brewery has released a breadth of new products in recent months.
This includes the Hazy Pale Ale Side Quest in September, it’s first craft beer, symbolising a new era for the Yorkshire brewery.
Alongside Blitzen and Snowflake, Black Sheep Brewery’s entire Christmas gifting range is now available to order online.
