Instructors from Harrogate School of Swimming have been visiting nurseries across the area to introduce young children to the basics of water safety.
Over the past few weeks, the sessions have been led by Sarah, who heads the school’s Baby Swim Programme.
The visits include simple, interactive demonstrations designed for children under the age of three, helping them start to understand how to stay safe around water in a fun and engaging way.
Daniel McDonald from Harrogate School of Swimming said:
“Learning to swim is such a valuable life skill, and introducing it at an early age helps children build water confidence that can last a lifetime.”
Harrogate School of Swimming says early exposure to water safety can help children develop valuable skills that last throughout their lives.
Nurseries interested in arranging a visit can contact Sarah at sarah@harrogateschoolofswimming.co.uk for more information.
