Sunflower Bakery in Harrogate is set to close, the bakery has announced.
In a statement on social media, the owners said they have made the "difficult decision" with a "heavy heart."
The Harrogate branch of Sunflower Bakery first opened in August 2024 on Montpellier Parade, following the success of its bakery in Boroughbridge.
The Boroughbridge site will remain open.
The bakery is owned by Kelly Days, who set up the business originally from home in 2012 and later expanded to multiple locations.
She said:
"It wasn't part of our plan and we will say more in the coming weeks but we have received so many messages that it's important to us to keep our customers and followers up to date.
"Our biggest concern is to our team and making sure we help them as much as possible as we navigate this difficult transition."
Sunflower Bakery has not yet confirmed a final closing date.
