A star-studded charity event at one of the Harrogate district's most luxurious hotels is aiming to raise an ambitious £1 million in just one night.
A Night Under the Stars, hosted at the five-star Grantley Hall in partnership with Yorkshire Children’s Charity has set the extraordinary fundraising target to support disadvantaged children across the county who are affected by disability, illness, and poverty.
The black-tie evening will feature a stellar entertainment line-up, including live performances from Gabrielle and Fleur East alongside a DJ set from radio presenter Mark Wright.

Guests will enjoy a Champagne reception, fine wines and a gourmet four-course banquet curated by Grantley Hall’s Executive Chef, Simon Crannage.
The night will also include a live auction offering money-can’t-buy prizes, as well as a spectacular drone show and dazzling fireworks display.
Following successful fundraising events in November 2022 and September 2024, this will be the third edition of the charity’s flagship gala.
Yorkshire Children’s Charity provides essential items and vital support services to children and young people living with the challenges of sickness, disability and deprivation across the region.
Longer term, the charity delivers a range of intervention-led projects aimed at breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty and unemployment.
Charlotte Farrington, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Yorkshire Children’s Charity, said:
“We are a steadfast, needs-led organisation, and it is clear from the applications we are receiving that the need across Yorkshire has never been greater.
“Our A Night Under the Stars event, now in its third iteration, allows the great and the good of Yorkshire to come together and do something truly significant for our children and communities.
“Setting a target of £1 million is always ambitious, but we owe it to the children who cannot advocate for themselves to aim high.”
Yorkshire Children’s Charity would like to give thanks to Grantley Hall, English Marquee Company, Boodles, Alexanders Prestige, Lister Horsfall, Morley Glass & Glazing, Julius Baer International, Elevate, Northern Energy Group Ltd, Addleshaw Goddard and Living North for their involvement in A Night Under the Stars 2026.
