A stunning new street art mural has now been completed in Harrogate town centre.
Commissioned by Harrogate BID, the artwork can be found in the vacant unit previously occupied by Debenhams.
It’s been created by Sam Porter of Mural Minded, who the BID have worked with in the past to create other masterpieces around the town centre.
The aim is to “wow” Harrogate visitors and residents alike.
Sam Porter said:
"Thanks to all the Harroagte community for their hospitality and all the passersby for all their positive feedback!
"I wanted to paint something big and bold on this one as a kind of autumn-winter warmer, celebrating the colours in autumn and with the owl as a central part to this acting like a guardian on the streets of Harrogate.
"As it is also a nocturnal bird, I thought it would be really fitting in the area. My initial Idea was to paint this wall again in the spring or summer to have it as a kind of 'changing wall'."
A Harrogate BID spokesperson said:
“This is just one of a number of creative projects we've delivered in 2024, with more plans set to be revealed next year.”
