BBC's Sara Cox arrived at Beckwithshaw Primary this morning as she began the final leg of her five-day fundraising journey for BBC Children in Need.
Sara entered the Harrogate district last night (Thursday), finishing Day 4 in Ripley after passing through Masham, Kirkby Malzeard, Grantley and Sawley.
After staying over in Ripley, Sara travelled south this morning towards Beckwithshaw whilst carrying the charity’s mascot, Pudsey Bear.
Her challenge involves travelling 135 miles from the Scottish border to West Yorkshire – the equivalent of running five marathons in five days.
And so far she has raised more than £4million for Children in Need.
Sara stopped at Beckwithshaw CE Primary School this morning (Friday) as supporters turned out in the rain.
Victoria Kirkman, Executive Head of Ripley CE and Beckwithshaw schools, said:
“Not only are Sara’s efforts utterly inspiring for our pupils but evidence of our own federation values of Community, Compassion and Courage!
"The past two days at Ripley and Beckwithshaw Schools have had such a buzz raising funds and welcoming Sara and the team to our villages. Good luck Sara!”
Children of another local school, Ripley CE Primary, welcomed Sara to the village last night (Thursday).
They lined the streets with banners to welcome Sara and show their support for her challenge.

Listeners are encouraged to line the route to cheer Sara on as she passes through North Yorkshire. You can track her progress here.
For safety reasons, organisers have asked that people do not join her on the road.
The challenge will conclude at Calverley Golf Club in Pudsey, where the finish line event is ticket-only due to limited space.
Donations can be made online to support BBC Children in Need, which celebrates 40 years of its iconic mascot Pudsey this year.
