The annual rural schools charity concert held in Harrogate has raised more than £6,700 for charity.
The money will be split between The Harrogate Robert Ogden Centre and Lauren Doherty’s Road Safety Talks.
The event was held at the Royal Hall in April and saw more than 240 children take part.
Executive Headteacher, Victoria Kirkman said:
“We are delighted to have raised this phenomenal amount for two, local charities, close to our hearts and hope this money will positively impact their life-changing work.”
The schools who took part were:
- Bishop Monkton CE Primary School
- Dacre Braithwaite CE Primary School
- Darley Primary School
- Hampsthwaite CE Primary School
- The Federation of Kettlesing, Felliscliffe, Beckwithshaw & Ripley
- Killinghall CE Primary School
- Summerbridge Primary School
- The Upper Nidderdale Federation of Schools
The show includes choirs, instrumentalists and dancers and will be extended to a wider field of schools moving forward.
