Ripon BID has been named as a finalist in the prestigious National BID Awards 2026.
The BID has been recognised in the Tourist Initiative category for its ‘outstanding contribution’ to destination marketing, visitor experience and community engagement.
Since its launch in 2021, Ripon BID has delivered a 29% increase in footfall compared to pre-BID levels, thanks to bold campaigns, signature events and strategic partnerships.
Lilla Bathurst, Manager of Ripon BID, said:
“This recognition is a testament to the creativity, collaboration, and pride that define Ripon.
“We’ve shown that small cities can deliver big tourism impact—and we’re just getting started.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Monday 9th February 2026 at the Leonardo Royal London City Hotel, bringing together the UK’s most innovative and impactful BIDs.
