Pateley Club to launch first ever Beer Festival

Pateley Bridge is hosting a beer festival later this month.

A community club in Pateley Bridge is hoping to raise a glass to a successful new tradition with the launch of its first ever Beer Festival.

The inaugural Pateley Club Beer Festival will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August at The Pateley Club on High Street.

Organisers say the event is part of the club's continued efforts to establish itself as a thriving community hub following a period of significant change.

Visitors will be able to sample 12 carefully selected draught craft beers and ciders over the three-day festival, featuring breweries and cider makers from Yorkshire and beyond.

A spokesperson said:

"We're delighted to announce the launch of our very first Pateley Club Beer Festival, marking another step in the club's exciting progression as a local community space offering new and exciting events to members and visitors alike.

"We hope the festival will become an annual event for Pateley Bridge and provide another reason for both locals and visitors to support one of the town's longest-standing social clubs."

Organisers hope the festival will become an annual fixture in the Nidderdale calendar, attracting both local residents and visitors to the town.

Tickets cost £10 and include entry for all three days, access to the upstairs Beer Festival bar, a commemorative Pateley Club beer glass, a free pint of any craft beer or cider on offer and a locally made barbecue sausage from Kendalls Butchers.

The festival will run from 12pm until 8pm each day at the club, which is located at 42 High Street in Pateley Bridge.

The Beer Festival follows a busy period for the club, which has introduced a range of new activities including live music, bingo, private functions and community events after changes to its licence were approved earlier this year.
