Harrogate fitness coach 'overwhelmed' by support after opening dream gym

Alice Hardy has officially opened Hardy's Fitness in Harrogate.

A Harrogate fitness coach has been left "overwhelmed" by support from the community after opening the doors to her dream gym.

Alice Hardy officially launched Hardy's Fitness on Monday (3rd August) after 10 years working in the fitness industry in Harrogate.

After securing the premises on Claro Road, Alice said it took around a month to organise the move before two weeks of hard work transforming the space into a fully functioning gym.

The new facility offers morning and lunchtime fitness classes, alongside small group personal training sessions and one-to-one coaching.

Demand has been strong from day one, with morning classes already fully booked and a waiting list in place.

Alice says more classes will be added as the gym continues to expand.

She told Your Harrogate:

"It's always been a dream of mine to have my own space and I had a vision for my own gym.

"We had about a month to get everything sorted and then two weeks of graft to bring it all together.

"The support has been overwhelming and I'm so thankful to everyone who helped bring the dream to life."

Hardy's Fitness offers a range of group training sessions and personalised coaching.

After a decade helping people achieve their fitness goals across Harrogate, Alice says opening her own dedicated space is the fulfilment of a long-held ambition.
