Harrogate Town sign National League South top scorer

Town's new striker

Harrogate Town have made another attacking addition to their squad with the signing of National League South top scorer Brad Dolaghan.

The 21-year-old striker joins Town from Worthing on a permanent deal and has signed a three-year contract at the Marcy Fitness Stadium.

Dolaghan enjoyed a standout 2025/26 campaign, finding the net 23 times as Worthing secured promotion and resulted in him finishing as the National League South’s leading goalscorer.

Brad says he’s excited to bring that momentum to Harrogate:

“I’m delighted to be here and really excited to get going”

“The project is a really exciting one and one I want to be a part of.

“To get Worthing up was the goal and we did that, so I’m really proud of that and looking to bring that momentum into this year.”

Dolaghan came through the ranks at Worthing before making a big impression at senior level, scoring seven goals in his first 10 games.

His goalscoring form attracted the attention of Premier League side West Ham United, who offered the young forward his first professional contract.

He subsequently enjoyed a successful loan spell at Aldershot, helping the club lift the FA Trophy, before returning to Worthing ahead of last season.

Dolaghan picked up where he left off, scoring 23 goals and finishing as the National League South’s top scorer.

Harrogate Town Head of Player Recruitment Lloyd Kerry believes the striker has plenty more to offer, and speaking about the addition to the Town squad, Lloyd said:

“We’re delighted to have him here, he’s a young, exciting centre forward who knows where the back of the net is,” he said.

“He’s a natural finisher, gets in great positions and has great movement, and at 21 he’s only going to get better.”

Dolaghan will wear the number 23 shirt for Town, subject to FA and National League approval.
