The organisers of the annual Nidderdale Show have donated £1,000 to Saint Michael’s Hospice.
The Nidderdale Agricultural Society’s president, Ken Blakey, presented the charity with the cheque last week.
The money came from the surplus proceeds of the society’s annual show dinner this year.
Ken presented the cheque to Sandra Gilbert, who represented the charity.
Alex Smith of Nidderdale Agricultural Society said:
“St. Michael's Hospice is a fantastic organisation, and we are very pleased to support their incredible work.
“Thank you to everyone who contributed and made this donation possible!”
