Leeds United footballer Brenden Aaronson popped the question to his girlfriend in Harrogate yesterday (Tuesday).
The 23-year-old midfielder, who lives in Harrogate, was pictured on one knee on Harrogate's Stray as he proposed to long-term girlfriend Milana D'Ambra.
The pair have been together since the age of 16.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, USA international Brenden wrote:
"Loved you every day since we were 16 and now we are getting married. Can’t wait for forever with you!"
Former and current teammates were quick to congratulate the couple, including former Whites star and St Aidan's pupil Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville, Willy Gnonto, Adam Forshaw, Patrick Bamford and Junior Firpo.
Aaronson signed for Leeds United in July 2022 and has since made 36 appearances for the club.
He spent last season on loan with 1.FC Union Berlin in Germany.
