Knaresborough Young Farmers are preparing to bring back their annual Christmas tree collection scheme, supporting St Michael's Hospice and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The initiative, now in its fourth year, invites residents across Harrogate, Knaresborough and nearby villages to book a tree collection through an online form.
Trees must be left outside properties by 9am on the morning of the scheduled collection, taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th January 2026.
Collections on Saturday will cover Harrogate, Pannal and Starbeck, while Sunday collections will include Knaresborough, Farnham, Ferrensby, Follifoot, Goldsborough, Kirk Deighton, Lingerfield, Little Ribston, North Deighton, Scotton and Spofforth.

A minimum donation of £7.50 per tree has been set, with all profits shared between the chosen charities and club funds.
Last year, the Young Farmers raised £3,503, which was split between St Michael’s Hospice and the British Heart Foundation.
Once collected, trees are taken to a local farm where they are chipped, used as bedding for cattle and eventually spread back onto the land.
