A woman from Harrogate has won a one-week holiday in a luxury motorhome.
As part of our competition with Whittams Motorhomes, we gave you the chance to win a stay in a luxury Etrusco motorhome for a week in October.
The prize was worth a whopping £1,000.
And after more than 2,000 entries, Harrogate resident Melanie Soden was selected as our winner!
Mel said:
“Last year I went on a driving holiday around the UK. I’ve been in a campervan, a bit smaller, but I’ve never actually had a holiday in a motorhome.”
Mel was invited to Whittams in Feliscliffe under the pretence she was a ‘finalist’ - before Your Harrogate’s Pete Egerton told her she was in fact our winner.
After receiving the news, she said:
“You sneak! That is very naughty. I can’t believe it! Wow, yippee! Thank you!”
Mark Trickett, Co-Owner at Whittams, said:
“These vans are great vans, they’re made by Hymer which is an Etrusco brand, and I’m sure when you look inside it you’ll see it’s a good quality vehicle and gives you all the amenities you need when you’re on the road.”
