Harrogate tutoring firms shortlisted for national award

Two Harrogate tutoring providers have been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

North Tuition and fellow Harrogate tutoring provider, Up Your Grade, have both been named finalists in the SME Tuition Business of the Year category at this year’s National Tutoring Awards, which will be hosted by The Tutors' Association in London next month.

The National Tutoring Awards celebrate outstanding achievement across the UK tutoring sector, recognising organisations and individuals making a significant impact on educational outcomes for young people.

The shortlisting marks a significant achievement for Harrogate, with two local companies among just ten tuition businesses recognised nationally in the category.

Faye Pashby and Jessica Ambrose, Co Founders of North Tuition, shared:

“We were absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted once again for SME Tuition Business of the Year.

"To be recognised nationally for a second time is a real honour and reflects the consistently high standards our team strives to deliver for students and families every day.

It’s also fantastic to see another Harrogate based tutoring company, Up Your Grade, shortlisted in the same category. It speaks volumes about the strength of educational support available in our area.”

Andy Gardner, Tutor Director of Up Your Grade, commented:

“We were delighted to hear that both Up Your Grade and North Tuition had been shortlisted.

"There is some fantastic work taking place across the tuition sector nationally, so to be recognised amongst the finalists is a real honour.

"The application process was really detailed and included evidence of impact, case studies and testimonials from both parents and tutors.

"To reach the final shortlist alongside businesses from across the country is something we are both incredibly proud of.”

The shortlisting follows a successful year for Up Your Grade, which recently received the Outstanding Business Growth Award at the University of York Enterprise Works Awards last week.

The winners of the National tutoring Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on 3rd July.
