Harrogate Town is hosting its first ever Christmas Footy Fest, offering festive activities for young supporters including a behind the scenes tour.
Harrogate Town to host 'Christmas Footy Fest' for young supporters Harrogate Town has announced it will be hosting the club's first ever 'Christmas Footy Fest' this festive season. Children will be given the opportunity to take part in a host of festive activities, including an exclusive behind the scenes tour. Aimed at young supporters over six years old, all supporters will leave with a bag full of Christmas goodies at the event on Wednesday 20th December at The Envirovent Stadium. It will run from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. A child’s meal is also included, while parents can enjoy the event from the EnviroVent bar, serving hot and cold drinks with a festive twist. A spokesperson for the club said:
"The event promises to bring holiday cheer and creativity to the heart of our community while providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to celebrate the festive season at their favourite club."Book your child’s place for £25 if you are a member of the club's free Junior Supporters Club or £30 for non-members. The event will include: A visit from Father Christmas: A special visit from Father Christmas will allow children to share their holiday wishes and take their photo. Stadium Tour: All attendees will be given an exclusive behind the scenes look at where the first team prepare for matches, inside the EnviroVent Stadium changing rooms. Holiday Games: A range of holiday-themed games and activities will keep the children entertained, including 'Guess The Player.' Festive Feast: Children will have an array of festive treats to tuck into in the Exercise.co.uk hospitality suite. Harrogate Town Goody Bag: Take home a festive goody bags full of club merchandise. Harrogate Town's Christmas Activity Day will be supervised by club staff to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants. Fan Engagement Manager Hamilton Mattock said:

"This event is designed to bring our supporters even closer to the club and create wonderful memories during the holiday season."This event is in collaboration with Enchantica’s and Father Christmas will be making a special visit on the day. "Making magic for all ages to enjoy in our community is at the core of all the work we do and creating experiences for this particular age group at Christmas I personally feel is so important.
