A Harrogate endurance runner has taken victory in one of the toughest ultra-distance events on the calendar.
Ultra-Trail Kosciuszko is Australia's Alpine Ultra-Trail running event, held in the Snowy Mountains National Park in New South Wales.
And Harrogate runner Morgan Glazier crossed the finish line first in a punishing 100-mile mountain race on Friday (28th November).
Morgan completed the 162.3km course - featuring more than 6,500 metres of elevation gain - in an impressive 17 hours, 38 minutes and 25 seconds.
According to official UTMB Live results, he secured 1st place overall, along with first place in both his age category and division.
The demanding race, part of the global UTMB series, tested runners with steep climbs, technical terrain and overnight conditions.
Despite the challenges, Glazier maintained an average pace of 9.2 km/h, stopping for less than 18 minutes in total throughout the entire event.
Further details and full event standings are available on the UTMB Live platform.
