Rudding Park Ladies have been crowned winners of the Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association (YLCGA) White Rose competition.
The victory follows a closely contested final at Leeds Golf Club yesterday (Thursday).
The event brought together the top four teams in the region – Otley, Rudding Park, The Oaks and Burstwick – with semi-finals played in the morning ahead of the afternoon final.
Rudding Park overcame The Oaks in their opening match, while Burstwick secured victory against Otley to book their place in the final.

Despite challenging conditions, including heavy rain, standing water on the course and delays caused by lightning, the final went ahead.
A spokesperson for Rudding Park Golf said:
“Congratulations to all the teams that took part, to YLCGA for their superb organisation and to Leeds Golf Club for hosting such a well-run event.”
It’s the third consecutive year that Rudding Park Ladies have reached the final - but this time they secured the trophy.
