A Harroagte karate club is celebrating yet more national success after an impressive medal haul at the JKS England National Championships.
Harrogate Shotokan Karate Club returned from the annual competition in Grantham with an impressive haul of 49 medals, topping the overall medals table.
A team of 45 members from the Harrogate-based club, which trains at Harrogate High School, took part in the competition.
The championships attracted more than 600 entries from clubs across England.
The squad was led by Harrogate Chief Instructor Matt Price, a former World Karate Champion, supported by club coaches Zoe Price, Chris Brown and Gary Maguire.

Across a full day of kata and kumite events, competitors of all ages secured 16 gold, 12 silver and 21 bronze medals.
