A Harrogate jeweller is trading treats for festive spirit this Christmas – and giving shoppers the chance to walk away with a free gift card.
Tomorrow (Thursday 11th December), for one day only, Beaverbrooks on James Street will reward the first five festive visitors who show off seasonal spirit by wearing a Christmas jumper, bringing mistletoe, or belting out a Christmas classic.
The Harrogate jeweller is joining in with the initiative taking place in each of its 57 stores.
To take part, entrants must visit any participating Beaverbrooks store and say the following competition entry code to a member of the store team: “Merry Christmas, Beaverbrooks!”

The code word can be accompanied by festive gestures such as wearing a Christmas jumper or accessories, singing a Christmas song or bringing a festive item into the store.
The lucky winners will receive a Beaverbrooks gift card worth £50, which can be spent on jewellery, diamonds or watches.
Clare Watson, Branch Manager at Beaverbrooks Harrogate, said:
“We love seeing the high street come to life at Christmas, and this year we’re excited to do something that adds even more sparkle to the festive shopping experience.
“Our Christmas Cheer event is all about spreading joy, celebrating the little moments that make this time of year so wonderful – and maybe treating yourself or a loved one to something truly special along the way.
“We can’t wait to see how our customers bring the festive fun – whether that’s by wearing a Christmas jumper or singing a classic Christmas song for a chance to win a gift card worth £50!”
The one-day-only event, taking place on Christmas Jumper Day, is designed to bring a little extra magic to Harrogate this December, encouraging customers to support their local high street.
