A popular Irish bar in Harrogate is set to host a special Christmas event for over 70's.
Katie O’Brien’s Irish Tavern in Harrogate is preparing to welcome elderly residents on Wednesday 10th December.
The initiative, held across all ten Katie O’Brien’s venues, follows a similar event held in Newcastle earlier this year, which attracted more than 200 attendees.
Across the UK, the brand expects around 1,670 people aged over 70 to take part.

The Harrogate pub says the aim of the event is to offer older members of the community a chance to enjoy festive hospitality in a relaxed, social setting.
Plans include complimentary drinks, live music and light food.
A spokesperson for the venue said:
"We cannot wait to give our guests a warm welcome, with a pint of Guinness, sausage roll and a good old sing-a-long!"
Spaces for the Harrogate event are limited and must be booked in advance.
Those interested can contact the venue through its website or by emailing harrogate@katieobriensirishtaverns.com.
