Helen James Flowers in Harrogate has been awarded a gold medal for its design at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Laura Pannitt, daughter of owner Helen James, was invited to represent the florist at the show.
And earlier this week, Laura was awarded a gold medal in the RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year category.
Taking to social media, Helen James said:
“We’re thrilled to announce our gold medal award at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show!
“Laura executed her design perfectly and we are all so proud of her.”
It’s the fifth year that Helen James Flowers has been invited to compete at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Laura’s design featured a range of flowers including dahlias, scabious and clematis, among others.
It’s the second consecutive year that Helen James Flowers has been recognised at the event, having won a gold medal in the Floristry Awards category last year.
Helen’s lamppost design ‘On the Verge’ was inspired by planting projects on areas of waste land which created mini wildlife havens.
