The Met Office has issued a warning for adverse weather in Harrogate with travel disruption expected in the district later this week.
Harrogate district braced for snow The Harrogate district is braced for snow this week. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow which comes into place at 3am on Thursday (8th February) and will remain until 3am the following morning. The Met Office said:
"A period of snowfall could bring some disruption on Thursday and Thursday night. "There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel."The Met Office has said there is a slight chance that some rural communities could become cut off and a small chance of power cuts.
