Harrogate businesses to team up for cheese and wine evening Two of Harrogate’s favourite independent businesses are teaming up for a wine and cheese event next month. The Cheeseboard and Ake & Humphris are hosting a wine and cheese evening on Friday 22nd March from 7pm. The event will feature countries known for their wine and cheese, but with examples “a little off the beaten track.” Jamie Lyons from Ake & Humphris and Gemma Aykroyd from The Cheeseboard will be in attendance to lead visitors through the pairings they’ve chosen, with interesting information and stories to add to the experience. There will be six wines and six cheeses available, with a glass of fizz on arrival. Gemma Aykroyd, Owner of the Cheeseboard, said:
“We’re delighted to be teaming up with Jamie and the guys at Ake & Humphris and can’t wait for what promises to be an amazing event in a relaxed setting. “We’re so excited to present a few hidden gems that we know you’ll love as much as we do!”Tickets are priced at £35 and places are limited. Bookings can be made online here or in either store. Read more local stories from Your Harrogate here.
