Fashion brand to open first northern store in Harrogate

How fashion brand Scamp & Dude's new Harrogate store could look.

British fashion brand Scamp & Dude is set to open its first permanent store in the North in Harrogate.

The retailer will move into 2-3 James Street, opposite Harrogate railway station, in October.

The new store will span more than 2,100 sq ft across two floors and stock the brand’s full womenswear collection.

It will also feature Scamp & Dude’s signature Bolt Room – a large private fitting room which groups can book to try on clothes together with complimentary refreshments.

Founder and CEO Jo Tutchener Sharp OBE said:

“We’ve wanted a store in Harrogate for such a long time. It’s taken us over three years to find the perfect spot, so it’s long overdue, and celebrating our 10th anniversary this year makes the moment even more special.

“Harrogate is a real gem and it feels only right that this becomes our permanent home in the North.

“The store will bring the very best of our product and experience, and we simply cannot wait to welcome our northern community through the doors.”

Scamp & Dude was founded in 2016 and currently has stores in Marlow, Brighton and Battersea Power Station.

The company has donated more than £4.4million in cash and products through its charitable campaigns, including more than 93,000 scarves for women starting chemotherapy.
