The annual Harrogate Charity Beer Festival returns to the Crown Hotel next week, organised by Harrogate Round Table.
The festival has been an annual event since 1990 and aims to raise money for local charities whilst showcasing the best beer the region has to offer.
This year it will be supporting Harrogate International Festivals, Samaritans, HELP (Harrogate Easier Living Project) and Martin House Children's Hospice, with 100% of the profits split between the four charities.
So ahead of the event, here’s everything you need to know…
When and where is it?
The Harrogate Charity Beer Festival will be returning to The Crown Hotel on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March 2024.
The event is open for sponsors from 1:30pm on Friday (8th) before opening to the general public from 7pm.
It will then be open to all from 1:30pm on the Saturday – and will be showing England’s Six Nations clash with Ireland at 4:45pm.
The event is expected to end at around 11pm.
What beers and other drinks will be available?
The Harrogate Beer Festival will feature over 40 cask ales, 10 kegged beers and a wide variety of wines, gins, prosecco and soft drinks.
The event will also feature beers from Yorkshire-based brewers Daleside Brewery and Black Sheep Brewery.
What about the entertainment?
As with previous years, the festival will take advantage of the size of the Crown Hotel venue by offering music and raves in various rooms.
DJ Mark Green will also be back providing non-stop jams.
Tickets
Tickets are available to purchase via the Harrogate Beer Festival website and cost £20 each.
There will also be a limited number available on the door at £22 each.
Sponsorship deals are also available for any local businesses wanting to take up advertising opportunities, with space on screens throughout venue, discounted tickets, unlimited drinks tokens, food included and early access making up the packages.
For ticket information or to find out more about the event, head to the Beer Festival website.
