Brownlee brothers launch first ever Ripon Triathlon Festival A brand new triathlon event is coming to Ripon, launched by Olympic medallists Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee. The first Ripon Triathlon Festival will be held at Ripon Racecourse on 13th and 14th July 2024. The event will be open to competitors of all abilities whilst aiming to inspire children of all backgrounds to get into sport. It will be raising funds for the Brownlee Foundation. Olympic hero Alistair Brownlee said:
“It’s about doing everything we can to encourage as many people as possible to travel here to experience the magnificent countryside and also to help triathlon maintain a really strong presence in the north of England.”Competitors can do the triathlons solo or join with two friends to compete as a team.
