A second charity bingo night is being held in Harrogate next month to fundraise for a 3-year-old girl diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Georgina Rowe received her diagnosis when she was just one-year-old and her mum, Isabelle, is aiming to raise funds for a charity that has supported Georgina and her family.
After taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Isabelle was able to raise more than £20,000.
And following on from a successful first ‘Songo Bingo’ event, there’s set to be another, with funds going to Candelighters.
The charity support families facing children's cancer in Yorkshire, financially, emotionally and practically
Isabelle said:
“Candlelighters played an integral role to the support on the ward as an inpatient and other support whilst at home.
“Without this, Georgina’s time would have been really difficult and as a family we would have struggled.
“We are fundraising this year to give something back to Candlelighters and help to continue the support for other families facing the same difficulties as us.”

Following Georgina's diagnosis, tests revealed it to be a supratenorial ependymoma - a rare primary glial tumour.
After surgery to remove it, the treatment plan was a gruelling 56 weeks of high dose chemotherapy, in seven cycles over eight weeks.
Isabelle has since been raising awareness of brain tumour symptoms to help others spot the signs.
Songo Bingo
The second Songo Bingo event will be held on Friday 17th May at St Roberts Club in Harrogate.
Tickets are available here, charged at £10 each.
