Aldi has announced plans to upgrade its Harrogate supermarket as part of a nationwide investment programme.
The store on Oak Beck Road is among 25 Aldi locations set to undergo improvements during summer 2026.
The Harrogate branch opened in 2016 and is currently the supermarket chain’s only store in the town.
The work forms part of Aldi’s wider investment in its existing store estate, with the company committing more than £300 million to upgrades and extensions across the UK this year.
The programme sits alongside separate plans to open new stores nationwide.
Aldi says improvements will vary between locations but are expected to include measures aimed at creating additional shopping space and improving sustainability.
Planned features include energy-efficient fridge doors and the use of natural refrigerants designed to reduce carbon emissions.
The retailer has also indicated that some stores will receive enhancements to bakery, fresh food and health and beauty areas as part of the refurbishment programme.
No details have yet been released about the specific works planned for the Harrogate store or when construction is expected to begin.
