North Yorkshire is getting its own special Christmas present this year - a radio station playing non-stop festive favourites and a flavour of the best of life at Christmas in the county.
Your Christmas goes live on DAB digital radios across North Yorkshire from Saturday 1st November, bringing some early Christmas cheer to local homes, cars and workplaces.

The radio station will feature snippets of information about things happening in North Yorkshire, and encourages listeners to have a festive day out in the county through a partnership with Visit North Yorkshire.

Listeners will be able to tune in on DAB+ radios across York and North Yorkshire, as well as via the Your Harrogate, Your Skipton and Your Ilkley websites and mobile apps, and on smart speakers - spreading Christmas cheer across the county and beyond.

From timeless classics to modern festive hits, Your Christmas promises to be the perfect companion for every seasonal activity - whether you’re putting up the tree, wrapping presents, baking mince pies or driving through twinkling towns and villages.

Your Media Group, which operates Your Harrogate, Your Skipton and Your Ilkley has teamed up with Visit North Yorkshire, part of North Yorkshire Council, for the special temporary station.

Tony Watson, Head of Tourism at Visit North Yorkshire, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting the launch of the new ‘Your Christmas’ radio station from Your Harrogate, Your Skipton and Your Ilkley.
“This festive initiative perfectly complements Visit North Yorkshire’s Christmas campaign, which aims to showcase the magic of our region during the festive season.
“From enchanting Christmas markets to unforgettable visitor attractions, we’re inviting everyone to experience the warmth, wonder and festive charm that makes North Yorkshire such a special destination at this time of year.”
Adam Daniel, Managing Director of Your Media Group, added:
“There’s something truly special about hearing Christmas music back on the radio — and now everyone across North Yorkshire can join in the fun by tuning in via their DAB radio.
“We know our listeners love this time of year, and Your Christmas is here to make it sound even better.”
Your Christmas will be available on DAB+ radios across North Yorkshire from Saturday 1st November, and is already available online via the Your Harrogate, Your Skipton and Your Ilkley websites and apps or at yourchristmas.co.uk.
