A popular music festival held on the Stray in Harrogate has been shortlisted for a national award.
Love to be...Festival Harrogate is among the finalists in the “Feels Like Home for the Weekend” category at the 25th anniversary Skiddle Awards.
The annual awards are organised by Skiddle, the UK-based ticket website and app, which celebrates standout moments in the country’s live music and events industry.
The open-air festival was first held on the Stray in 2024, featuring house music artists including Roger Sanchez and Bez.
The sold-out debut proved popular with festival-goers and established the event as a new addition to Harrogate’s live music calendar.

This year’s festival is set to return on Saturday 5th September, with a line-up that includes DJs Todd Terry, Claptone and David Penn.
The category recognises events that create a strong sense of atmosphere and community, highlighting festivals with welcoming staff, good facilities and a positive experience for attendees.
Love to be...Festival Harrogate is competing against Moovin Festival in Stockport, Pavillion Festival in Ayr, In It Together in Port Talbot and GemFest in Wiltshire.
A spokesperson for the awards encouraged people to have their say:
"Please cast your vote to ensure your favourite is the winner on the night. There are 4 categories each with several awards in each section. You can vote within every category or simply just for one award nominee - it's up to you!"
The Love to be… brand was founded in Sheffield in 1994 and has since become one of the UK’s longest-running house music brands.
Last year’s event in Harrogate was headlined by Armand Van Helden and attracted nearly 10,000 people.
In total, 76 finalists across 16 categories have been shortlisted in this year’s Skiddle Awards.
The ceremony will take place at Blackpool Tower on Thursday 30th April, bringing together event organisers and industry figures from across the UK.
