Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision near Harrogate.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Pot Bank, near Beckwithshaw, at around 10pm on Friday 24 October. It involved a blue Citroën C2 that left the road and collided with a tree. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed until 5am on Saturday morning to allow collision investigators to carry out their work and for the vehicle to be recovered. North Yorkshire Police are asking anyone who saw the Citroën C2 before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
