A video game festival is coming to Harrogate later this year.
The Odyssey Gaming Festival is coming to town for the first time and will be held at The Crown Hotel on 6th and 7th July.
The event will give visitors the chance to enjoy retro games, esports and exclusive merchandise and is being billed as a “family-oriented digital extravaganza like no other.”
A spokesperson for the festival said:
“Whether you’re a casual gamer or a competitive esports enthusiast, Odyssey Gaming Festival is the perfect arena to showcase your skills, connect with fellow gamers, and experience the latest in gaming technology.
“Immerse yourself in the nostalgia of retro gaming, score big with thrilling speed runs, and discover exclusive loot and merchandise from top vendors.”
The Odyssey Gaming Festival will include appearances gaming giants including Kingston Technology and Gigabyte.
It’s been created in collaboration with suppliers FTAV, Phase 4 Computers and Knaresborough Graphics.
The event will take place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July from 10am – 5pm.
Tickets are £10 for a day pass, whilst children under 7 go free.
